As the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Dean Richard Flores works with faculty committees and key staff to ensure that academic policies and requirements for Liberal Arts degrees continue to meet the College's commitment to academic and intellectual excellence. This includes meeting with the LAC’s Academic Affairs Committee to increase communication between students and faculty and work in tandem to create an academic environment well suited to UT’s liberal arts students.

The College of Liberal Arts is honored to have Mia Carter as the Dean of Student Affairs. In her role as Dean, Dr. Carter meets with the student affairs committee of the council monthly to solve issues brought up by students in the college and assist in developing solutions that improve the liberal arts student experience. Her work is dedicated to the success of liberal arts students through comprehensive and collaborative advising services and multifaceted programs designed to support a diverse student population.
